Overview
The 2nd and 3rd phase of the C-Power project are the industrial phases following the 1st phase considered as a pilot phase.
Phase 2 and 3 consist of 48 6M Senvion turbines (24 in each concession sub-area), the installation of the Offshore Transformer Station (OTS) and the installation of the 2nd 150 kV export cable. The wind turbines are built on jacket foundations and are connected together and to the OTS by 33 kV cables.
Construction was started on November 25th, 2010 and was finalized on September 2013.
Supply and works execution
The turbines were provided by Senvion who is responsible for the supply, Operation and Maintenance of the wind turbines during the first 10 years of exploitation (including a possible extension for 10 additional years).
The installation of the turbines was executed by the THV Seawind consortium, which was also in charge of the balance of plant (onshore works, construction and installation of the foundations and installation of the cables).
All cables and the Offshore Transformer Plateform (OTS) are designed and supplied by ABB.
