Concession

In 2003 C-Power obtained a concession to build and operate an offshore wind farm in the Exclusive Economical Zone of Belgium’s Continental Shelf. The concession area is located on the Thornton sand bank, which is situated about 30 km offshore from the Belgian Coast.

The C-Power concession is part of the delineated zone for in total 9 Belgian offshore projects with a total capacity of 2200MW of which 877 MW has already been installed.
