RWE Innogy pools the renewable energy expertise and generating plant of the RWE Group.
The company plans, builds and operates renewable power generation facilities, and aims to vigorously grow its renewable energy capacity in the UK and Continental Europe.

With a development focused on wind energy for several years and more recently on solar photovoltaic, the Group is also present in other segments of the renewable energies market: small hydro, marine energy, biomass, biofuel and biogas. MARGUERITE

Marguerite Wind is a vehicle of the 2020 European Fund for Energy, Climate Change and Infrastructure (“the Marguerite Fund”) which is established with the backing of six of Europe’s leading public financial institutions (Caisse des Dépôts et consignations, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, European Investment Bank, Instituto de Crédito Oficial, KfW, PKO Bank Polski) to make capital-intensive infrastructure investments, mainly in Renewables, Energy and Infrastructure.
C-Power is the first participation taken by the Marguerite Fund.

 

EDF Energies Nouvelles and Marguerite Wind are represented by their joint venture Thornton Bank SA.

This combination of industrial, financial and public shareholders is the key strength of the Project. 
Indeed, the shareholders provide deep industrial know-how in the energy sector in general and in the offshore wind sector in particular, a strong creditworthiness and well-established knowledge of the Belgium market.
